Depending on the insurance you buy, it can last from one day, up to 45 days. In some cases, you can renew the insurance to extend it further.
If you have an annual multi-trip policy, the insurance covers you for multiple trips during one year, however, you must keep in mind that each trip must last a maximum of 31 days in a row.
If you have a ‘Cancellation Only’ policy, your insurance covers you from the moment you buy the policy until it expires or you return home to Spain, whichever is sooner.
If you have a ‘Single Trip’ policy, your insurance covers you from the moment you buy the policy until it expires or you return home to Spain, whichever is sooner.
If you have a ‘Medical insurance’ policy, your insurance covers you from the moment you start your journey until the policy expires or you return home to Spain, whichever is sooner.
If you have a ‘Multi risk’ policy, your insurance covers you from the moment you buy the policy until it expires.
